You’re a busy healthcare professional.
Perhaps you’re looking to relocate to another state, or you’ve already made the move and you’re working in your field in a limited, unlicensed capacity.
You know it’s in your best interest to pursue your license, but the application process is long, tedious, complicated…and completing the paperwork always seems to get pushed to the bottom of your “to do list.”
We don’t blame you! Even when one state has reciprocity with another, the process of actually taking advantage of that reciprocity and filing for a license transfer can get overwhelming.
Since 2008, the professionals at Credentialing.com have helped healthcare professionals transfer or acquire their professional licenses.
How does it work?
Completing an application for professional licensure is just the beginning. After that, there are a plethora of other activities that might need to be completed, including:
- Contacting supervisors to confirm supervision hours
- Contacting colleges/universities to get certified official transcripts
- Contacting professional education providers to confirm certifications or continuing education credits.
- Contacting testing organizations to get certified official test scores
- Contacting schools to get course syllabi to confirm that courses on an applicant’s transcript meet the requirements of the state’s licensure qualifications
- Contacting department heads to request a letter explaining why a course on a transcript (perhaps one where no syllabi is available) meets the requirements of the state’s licensure qualifications
- Getting study materials for a jurisprudence exam; and access to the exam itself
- Speak with the licensure board to determine options if an applicant’s application is deficient in some way (ex: a required course was not part of professional’s schooling)
- Obtaining accurate records of any lapses in licensure
- Obtaining accurate documentation of any formal complaints, or other issues
- Making sure license process is not getting unnecessarily held up in review
- And many others…
